2017 Carbonic Pinot Noir
This delicious wine is produced by Carbonic, whole cluster, fermentation. Color and flavor are extracted within each individual berry by tiny bubbles of CO2 during fermentation. This process captures the fresh flavor and aroma of our perfectly ripe, estate Pinot Noir, without the wait! Enjoy notes of bright, fresh plum coupled with juicy raspberries and strawberries. A smooth, lingering fruit finish is complemented with easy tannins and refreshing acid.
Planted in 1991, the 50-acre Hawks View Vineyard offers the ideal growing conditions for Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. The eastern-facing slope and Laurelwood soils, combined with dry farming and hand harvesting, allow for wines of great character and distinction.
