Estate Vineyard

Hawks View Vineyard is situated on one hundred and thirty acres, facing South-Southeast, between 250 and 500 feet above sea level. Of the 45 net-planted acres, approximately two thirds are own-rooted Pinot Noir vines planted in 1991, with the balance on various rootstocks planted between August of 1997 and April of 1998.

Hawks View currently grows a diverse selection of Pinot clones. The property consists of Laurelwood soils known for quality wine grape production. With spectacular views of five peaks in the Cascade Range, the centerpiece of which is Mount Hood, the vineyard enjoys optimal elevation, orientation, and soil for growing premium Pinot. Hawks View Vineyard’s fruit can be found in numerous single vineyard designates from top Oregon and California producers dating back to the mid 1990’s.
